Shipping Policy

1. Order Processing & Lead Times

All our custom art and woodworking pieces are handcrafted.

  • Standard Items: Orders are typically processed within 5-7 business days.

  • Custom Commissions: Lead times for custom projects vary based on complexity. We will provide an estimated completion date upon order confirmation.

  • Notification: You will receive a confirmation email once your order has shipped, including tracking information.

2. Shipping Rates & Estimates

Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout.

  • Local Pickup: We offer free local pickup for customers in the Cottage Grove/Twin Cities area. Select "Local Pickup" at checkout to coordinate a time.

  • Domestic Shipping: We ship via major carriers (UPS, FedEx, USPS). Delivery typically takes 3-7 business days after processing.

3. International Shipping

We currently offer international shipping to select countries. Please note that your order may be subject to import duties and taxes (including VAT), which are incurred once a shipment reaches your destination country. Makerwerks is not responsible for these charges if they are applied and are your responsibility as the customer.

4. Service Interruptions

Shipments may experience delays due to variables outside of our control, such as carrier delays, severe weather, or high-volume holidays. We will do our best to communicate any known disruptions that may affect your delivery timeline.

5. Damages & Issues

Makerwerks is not liable for products damaged or lost during shipping. However, if you receive your order damaged, please contact the shipment carrier to file a claim. Please save all packaging materials and damaged goods before filing a claim, and notify us at djofrie@gmail.com so we can assist where possible.
